The Painting Factory 製圖廠
The “Painting Factory” comes from the multiple steps involved in the creative process. While the final images may appear abstract, they actually undergo a series of factory-like procedures—priming, screen printing, sanding, and varnishing—layer by layer on the canvas. This emphasis on the labor and producing craftsmanship of painting is what defines the The Painting Factory.
「製圖廠」一詞的由來，是因為作品創作程序繁多，看似抽象的畫面，其實是經過如同工廠般的一道道加工，從打底、絹印、磨平到上凡尼斯，有序地施作在畫布上。在繪畫的過程中強調如同工藝的「製作」手法與勞動性。
